Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: Oct 21, 2025

Tieulie Digital (“we,” “our,” “us”) respects your privacy and values transparent, secure business practices. This policy explains how we collect and use information, as well as the terms of our service, including payments and project work.

Information We Collect

  • Personal Information: Name, email, phone number, and business details (via contact forms, Boost Club signup, and bookings).
  • Technical Data: IP address, device/browser information, and pages visited, collected via cookies and analytics (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Marketing Preferences: Newsletter or Boost Club opt-in status and related tags.

How We Use Information

  • To deliver requested services and respond to inquiries.
  • To send meetup invites, reminders, and newsletters only if you opt in.
  • To improve site performance, content, and security.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Legal Basis (PIPEDA/CASL)

  • Your consent (e.g., ticking the newsletter checkbox).
  • Legitimate interests (site security, service delivery).
  • Legal compliance.

Sharing & Third Parties

We don’t sell your data. We use service providers (e.g., hosting, email marketing, analytics, and payment processors) solely to operate the site and deliver services. They process data under confidentiality and security obligations. We may disclose information if required by law.

Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for functionality and analytics. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Continued use of the site implies consent to our cookie practices.

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, or as required by law.

Your Rights

  • Access, update, or delete your data.
  • Withdraw newsletter consent at any time.
  • Contact us to exercise rights: [email protected].

We use SSL, secure hosting, and reasonable technical/organizational measures. No method is 100% secure.

Payment Policy

Domestic Payments (Canada)

For Canadian clients, Tieulie Digital accepts payment via Interac e-Transfer.
Payments should be sent to [email protected], with Autodeposit enabled (no password required).

Once deposited, Interac e-Transfers are final and non-reversible. This method provides instant, fee-free, and secure payment confirmation for both parties.

All project deposits and milestone payments made via Interac are non-refundable, as work and resources are scheduled upon receipt.

International Payments

For international clients, Tieulie Digital uses Wise Business for cross-border bank transfers.
Once a Wise transfer is completed, it cannot be reversed or disputed like a credit card or PayPal transaction, ensuring security and fairness for both parties.

All payments are final. Refunds are not issued once funds have been received. Any overpayments or unused balances will automatically be credited toward future project work, hosting, or maintenance services.

Deposits, Milestones & Delivery

  • A non-refundable deposit (typically 40%) is required before work begins.
  • Remaining balances are invoiced per milestone or upon completion.
  • Final deliverables, files, and credentials are released only after full cleared payment.
  • Payments made by PayPal or credit card (if accepted) are subject to a 3.9% processing fee.

This structure ensures transparency, protects both parties, and allows Tieulie Digital to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

Payment Responsibility and Fees

All project quotes and invoices are stated net of processing or transfer fees. Tieulie Digital must receive the full quoted amount as cleared funds.
Any fees charged by banks, Wise, PayPal, credit card processors, or other intermediaries are the responsibility of the client and must be added to the payment amount.

Example: if a project is quoted at $3,000 CAD, the total sent must result in $3,000 CAD received after all bank fees and deductions.

Payments received short of the invoiced amount will be considered partial payments, and project delivery or milestones may be delayed until the full balance is received.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Effective Date” reflects the latest version.
